Buying A Ragdoll From Villaroyal

I usually have kittens available throughout the year. However, if you wish a specific color and/or pattern, it is advisable to let me know a few months in advance so I will have the kitten of your dreams when you are ready.

Kittens are priced on an individual basis and available in three categories:

PET QUALITY

Not to be used for breeding; price includes the neuter or spay which is done for your convenience prior to leaving Villaroyal.

"Pet Quality" may have less than perfect markings; however the temperament will be as nice as the show quality kitten.
 

SHOW QUALITY - ALTER

Not to be used for breeding; price includes the neuter or spay which is done for your convenience prior to leaving Villaroyal.

"Show Quality" have perfect markings, outstanding type, size and temperament.
 

BREEDER QUALITY

Available on a very limited basis.
References and contractual agreement required.

Kittens are ready for adoption from 10 to 12 weeks of age.  In addition, you can expect a:

SHIPPING

Kitten prices do not include transportation. Shipping is available only within the US.

I do not ship cats/kittens by themselves as freight.

Kittens may be picked up in person at Villaroyal or shipped from the (ROC) Rochester or (BUF) Buffalo, New York airport via professional courier.

For those who are able to fly into (ROC) or (BUF) personally, I will be happy to meet with you at the airport.

DEPOSIT

$300. will hold the kitten of your choice, personal check, bank check or money order.  Deposits are not refundable if a kitten is cancelled.

Deposits may be transferred to another kitten only if you notify me at least three weeks before the cancelled kitten is ready to go.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

Kittens are available to approved homes only.

I have a NO DECLAW policy and prefer you buy your kitten elsewhere if you feel you must resort to this practice. Declawing is extremely painful, healing requires several weeks to months, and in many cases a cat's feet will remain sore for life. Cats need their claws for daily grooming and for proper exercise of muscles by stretching and scratching. In addition, claws are needed to help the cat balance and jump. Villaroyal Ragdolls are taught from a very early age, that nail trimming is routine and that the scratching post is a rewarding place to scratch.  Please visit my "Feline Scratching" page to learn more about why cats scratch and for informative articles explaining why you should not declaw.

EARLY SPAY & NEUTER

Your pet kitten will have his or her surgery taken care of before arriving to your home. It is less stressful for a young kitten, rather than waiting until 6 months or more of age. In the past, some have questioned the safety of this practice. If you have any concerns, please take some time to explore the links below. I have spent months researching this subject and firmly believe that it is not only safe but is the best policy for my kittens. They heal under my watchful eye and the loving care of their mothers. Most often, kittens are back running, climbing & playing with their friends the same evening.

Why neuter & spay? It will help eliminate fighting and the spraying of urine. It will decrease the desire to roam outdoors, thereby decreasing possible contact with other cats, thus reducing fighting and disease transmission. Your pet will be a more loving and content companion.
